When he was a child, he was in a terrible car crash. Both his parents were killed, and he was left with no memory. He has spent a lot of his time trying to figure out who he is. When the forces of darkness descend upon the Earth, Darien transforms into the caped super hero Tuxedo Mask. Primarily he offers moral support to the Sailor Scouts when they are in danger. He can project sharpened roses, which often stun evil creatures. Then Sailor Moon and the Scouts can finish the monster off. Thanks to Sailor Moon, his past identity of Prince Darien was revealed. Long ago, Darien was the prince of the Earth, and was deeply in love with Princess Serenity of the Moon Kingdom. During the fierce final battle, Prince Darien rejected the evil of Queen Beryl and the Negaforce to protect Serenity. In the battle, Serenity and Darien were both killed. Queen Serenity sent them to the future on Earth. In the first part of Sailor Moon R, Darien loses his memory. Deep inside of himself he still knows that he must protect Sailor Moon and the Sailor Scouts. In this case, he creates a split personality and becomes The Moonlight Knight.

Amy is the brains of the team. Anytime anything mentally complex presents itself, she rises to the challenge. Rated with an IQ approaching that of a genius, she can generally solve almost any puzzle that the Sailor Scouts finds themselves in. She also is the most aware of Serena being an emotional teenager, and not just a superheroine who isn't sensitive to the needs of a young girl. As a Sailor Scout, Amy also fits the description of the idiom 'Brainpower over firepower'. Sailor Mercury's attacks are more defensive then offensive but they get far more powerful as the series progresses.

Just in case you are wondering, Rini's name is actually Serena, although for the sake of not confusing the two, the younger one likes to be called Rini. Rini is the future daughter of Serena and Darien. In Sailor Moon R, Rini goes back into the past to find the Silver Crystal to try and save Crystal Tokyo and her mother in the future. In Sailor Moon S, Rini comes back to begin her training as the Sailor Senshi of the future moon. In Sailor Moon Super S, Rini plays a major roll. She is the human that Helios (Pegasus) contacts and trusts.

Raye has (in her opinion) the best leadership qualities of all the Sailor Scouts. As a teenager, she has gained popularity amongst those her own age. She goes out on dates, much more often than the others. At first, she disliked Serena and found her unfit, personality-wise, as being the leader. Later on however, she realizes the errors she made. She then helps Sailor Moon out. Being a strong shoulder during Sailor Moon's troubled times.

She is the tallest Inner and the second tallest Scout (Uranus is taller), this is why her school uniform is different, they did not have one her size. She likes to step up to challenges (unlike Amy, she fights rather than thinks).
